PERDAMAN INDUSTRIES (CHEMICALS & FERTILISERS)
Perdaman Industries (Chemicals & Fertilisers) is a Western Australian based multinational group with a current focus on the production of urea, the most commonly traded nitrogenous fertiliser. Urea is non-toxic, has high nitrogen content and can be easily transported and stored.
The company is striving and working hard to complete this project in the near future, which will see a total investment of $4.0 billion.
The plant will be located in Karratha, Western Australia, and with a planned capacity of two million ton per annum, most of the urea produced by the plant will be exported.
With an ever-growing global population, and therefore an ever-increasing demand for agricultural food products, there is a natural flow on effect for the requirement of fertiliser within the agricultural supply chain. In addition to helping improve agricultural output and the worldwide shortage of fertiliser, we will add value to Australia’s resources. Urea is safe and clean as well as being easily transported.
We expect to create approximately 2,000 jobs including 200 permanent at the plant, which will further stimulate the local economy.
With planned Urea production capacity of two million tonnes per annum, our plant is destined to be a world-scale facility with high operating efficiencies.
SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT
Perdaman strives to ensure responsible safety and environment practices for all employees and the community. This also relates to effective management of potential emissions, noise and other environmental criteria.
