PERDAMAN INDUSTRIES (CHEMICAL & FERTILISERS)

perdaman-cf

Perdaman Chemicals & Fertilisers is developing a US$2.5 billion urea manufacting plant located in Collie, Western Australia.

With a planned capacity of 2 million tonnes per annum, most of the urea produced by our plant will be exported.

Using clean coal gassification technology, we transform sub-bituminou coal into urea. Although coal gassification is new to Australia, it is proven technology around the world.

With an ever growing world-population and thus ever increasing demand for agricultural food products, there is a natural flow on effect for the need for fertiliser within the agricultural supply chain. In addition to helping improve agricultural output and the world-wide shortage of fertiliser, we add value to Australia’s coal resources. Furthermore, urea is safe and clean as well as being easily transported.

We expect to create approximately 200 permanent jobs at the plant, further stimulating the local economy.

COLLIE UREA
MANUFACTURING

With planned Urea production capacity of 2 million tonnes per annum, our plant is destined to be a world-scale facility with high operating efficiencies.

COAL GASIFICATION
& THE ENVIRONMENT

Coal gasification consists of converting the solid coal to synthetic gas or in short, syngas, which is processed to remove contaminants & used as feedstock for synthesis of various chemical products such as ammonia & methanol.

RAW MATERIALS
& INFRASTRUCTURE

Our plant will provide several raw materials and additional infrastructure to the region of Collie in Western Australia. This includes coal, water, land, power, rail logistics and road logistics.
