An unexpected journey
This month, Perdaman is delighted to welcome Ray Mizzi as the new General Manager Business Development & Commercial for Perdaman Advanced Energy.
Vikas Rambal and Ray Mizzi have known each other for quite some time now, since the very first project they both worked on from different perspectives. They now join in their forces together to work towards achieving the same goals for Perdaman.
I first met Vikas Rambal back in 2002 when he was the Managing Director on the Burrup Fertiliser Project, when I was at Siemens Power Generation. At that time we sold him a steam turbine driven integrally geared compressor which involved travelling to New Delhi for the final negotiations – my first visit to India. From there we went on to visit various Siemens manufacturing sites and offices in Germany in the prefeasibility stage of the Collie Urea project to look at coal gasification technology. Socially my wife Kathryn and I watched cricket from Vikas’ WACA Box and we even got an invite to his 40th Birthday party which was a fantastic event.
I have now started in a new chapter in my career – working for Perdaman Advanced Energy. I see this an exciting opportunity in an exciting and growing company, in an exciting and continuously developing sunrise industry. Thank you for making this happen – Vikas!
